The Ruvidini Supervisor is responsible for leading day-to-day operations and frontline people management at the Ruvidini site and camp in Mullewa while also providing hands-on support to the loader operators based onsite. This role is crucial in maintaining operational continuity safety and overall workforce wellbeing in a remote environment.
As a visible and trusted leader the Ruvidini Supervisor plays a key role in supporting our road operators and keeping them connected to the wider team. Strong relationship-building and consistent engagement with all stakeholders are essential to ensuring smooth daily haulage operations that meet both contractual requirements and business goals.
What Youll Be Doing
Lead & Support the Team
- Motivate and guide loader operators and drivers to maintain a positive inclusive team culture.
- Be a consistent presence onsite and support remote personnel.
- Coordinate roster planning leave and fatigue management.
- Address performance concerns early in collaboration with HR and site leadership.
- Work closely with your rostered counterpart to provide consistent leadership.
- Take ownership across rosters to ensure continuity and avoid unresolved handovers.
Support Loader Operations
- Build trust and maintain strong engagement with loader operators.
- Help troubleshoot issues coordinate maintenance and ensure standards are met.
- Step in to operate loaders when required to support the team.
Keep Operations Running Smoothly
- Oversee daily site operations yard standards and changeover areas.
- Support camp wellbeing by ensuring issues are addressed and induction processes are followed.
- Maintain a high standard of presentation and site signage.
Drive Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with fatigue laws WAHVA and Newhaul policies.
- Lead by example in safety encouraging proactive hazard reporting.
- Complete operational reporting including daily/weekly KPIs and hazards.
What Were Looking For
- Experience in the transport or logistics industry is highly regarded.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
- A current MC licence and front-end loader ticket are desirable.
