Job Summary
GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
The Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and managing supplier relationships to support efficient cost-effective sourcing across the organization. This role drives strategic sourcing initiatives mitigates supply risks and ensures supplier performance aligns with company goals. It requires cross-functional collaboration with procurement product development and quality teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and manage a reliable competitive supplier base for sourcing needs.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies with key suppliers.
- Monitor industry trends and proactively address supply challenges.
- Identify cost savings and manage pricing strategies.
- Evaluate suppliers through site visits and performance assessments.
- Lead contract negotiations and resolve critical supply issues.
- Improve supplier performance using scorecards and internal feedback.
- Resolve discrepancies in purchase orders receipts and invoices.
- Expedite back-ordered items to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and conduct site visits as needed.

- Office environment sitting for long periods of time.
- Frequent use of computer keyboard mouse and camera
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Primarily in an office / home environment
- Some exposure to Warehouse and Manufacturing environments
- Under 20% travel to supplier locations
Qualifications :
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors degree and 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing purchasing and contract negotiation.
- Strong track record in cost management and supplier performance.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Experience with MRP (Infor M3 preferred).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Primarily operates in an office environment that requires frequent typing and manual dexterity for computer use.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Hyflex. Time is split between office and remote work. Occasional travel required.
