Team Manager Frontend and Analytics

Your new job 

We are currently looking for two dedicated Team Managers each responsible for leading a specialized team. One team focuses on front-end development and data analytics while the other focuses on data science. Both roles involve team leadership close collaboration with product owners and other stakeholders and a strong focus on team development and delivery.

In this role your typical week can look something like this:  

• Driving continuous improvement collaboration and knowledge sharing of methodologies tools and materials across the IKEA Data Analytics community 
• Collaborating and communicating with other parts of the organization to understand the needs of stakeholders and devise possible solutions 
• Ensuring consistency by supporting the use of relevant development techniques digital frameworks and best practices 
• Being responsible for making sure that the insights and conclusions from data science are easily available to other parts of the organization 
• Supporting a culture of data-driven decision making across IKEA organizations 
• Working closely together with data scientists data engineers architects analysts peers and other relevant roles across IKEA as well as in your team 
• Keeping up to date with the latest technological trends 
• Assuring quality and contribute to development and testing of deliverables 

Qualifications :

What wed like you to bring to the table 

The role as a Team Manager requires you to have: 

• Expertise and passion in understanding business problems and applying Data & Analytics to try and solve them 
• Direct or indirect management experience - leading people to perform and deliver continuously work with competence development recruitment and proactive succession within the area of responsibility 
• Capability to effectively lead and manage a Core Business Range team of Front-End Developers / Analysts  
• Extensive knowledge and experience in data modelling and visualization (Power BI) with relevant supporting skills data processing and analysis languages DAX Python Power Automate Azure analytics Azure Data Bricks etc 
• Working experience with huge data sets and extensive knowledge of data/ information models and landscape 
• Ability to provide technical leadership for front-end developers/analysts in the organization fostering a culture of support and collaboration in the team and across the Data & Analytics organization 
• Ability to act as a Core Business Range point of contact and escalation within the IKEA Front End developer/analyst community  

Its a plus if you also have: 

• Experience in preparing and enabling the implementation of common ways of working tools and competence in the business 
• Ability to apply comprehensive written and verbal communication skills in storytelling supported by visualization of data focused on other stakeholders both in digital and business 
• Experienced working in an agile set-up 
• Expertise in delivering to oganization strategies and goals 
• Experienced in budgeting process by preparing initiated input on need of resources development and investment or service needs 
• Experience in enabling preconditions for the team to perform their assignment according to our IKEA values and set business priorities
