In Eatalys 24-hour operating bakery a Bread Baker is responsible for producing delicious bread and focaccia in accordance with our authentic Italian recipes. Reports to the Bakery Manager.
- Prepares and bakes artisanal breads focaccia and pizzas during overnight production to ensure readiness for daily service.
- Mixes ferments proofs and bakes doughs according to established recipes and production schedules.
- Assists with pizza preparation and dough mixing as needed.
- Maintains a clean and sanitary production area in compliance with Department of Health standards.
- Works towards mastering all stages of overnight bakery and pizza production.
- Collaborates closely with the team to ensure consistency efficiency and product quality across shifts.
- Assists Sales Associates when needed and engages with guests interested in learning about bread and pizza production.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in a baker preparation position
- Basic math and measuring skills
- Good work ethic communication and time management skills
- Post-secondary culinary program highly preferred

- Availability to work onsite with an flexible schedule including overnights evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours including standing walking bending and squatting
