About the Role
The Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) will play a critical role in supporting the Business Unit (BU) Controlling team by delivering accurate financial reporting insightful analysis and actionable recommendations. This position partners closely with BU leaders and cross-functional teams to drive business performance and support strategic decision-making.
What You Will Do
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports for executive management review.
- Support BU leaders with monthly reporting variance analysis and performance insights.
- Analyze and evaluate BU operating results using COPA and Darwin systems; identify root causes and drive resolution of issues.
- Assess regional BU performance against Plan and Forecast explaining key variances and trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-divisional teams to provide financial analysis and support decision-makin.
- Conduct product line portfolio and profitability analysis to optimize business outcomes.
- Assist in the preparation of BU budgets and forecasts; perform actual vs. plan variance analysis.
- Monitor cost center performance against Plan and Forecast and conduct gap analysis.
- Lead and support ad hoc projects as required.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Bachelors degree in Business Finance or related field.
- 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical written verbal and organizational skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
