Blue Bird Day a leading specialized intensive pediatric therapeutic day program is seeking a dedicated and compassionate clinic-based Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our multidisciplinary team of top therapists in Wheaton IL. This is an opportunity to provide evidence-based play-focused pediatric therapy in a collaborative innovative environment designed to help children thrive.

As a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at Blue Bird Day you will provide physical therapy to children ages 3-6 years old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) ADHD sensory processing disorder and other neurodiverse needs. Youll foster each childs speech receptive and expressive language feeding and swallowing needs through:

Providing individualized and group therapy
Implementing therapeutic approaches such as Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding Get Permission Approach Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Intentional Relationship Model (IRM)
Collaborating daily with occupational and physical therapists and social workers
Documenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of care
