As a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) at Blue Bird Day you will provide physical therapy to children ages 3-6 years old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) ADHD sensory processing disorder and other neurodiverse needs. Youll foster each childs speech receptive and expressive language feeding and swallowing needs through:
- Providing individualized and group therapy
- Implementing therapeutic approaches such as Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding Get Permission Approach Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Intentional Relationship Model (IRM)
- Collaborating daily with occupational and physical therapists and social workers
- Documenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of care
