Software Engr II

As a Software Engr II here at Honeywell you will be responsible for the design development and maintenance of software applications and systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and ensure the efficient timely completion of software projects. Your role will involve coding testing debugging and documenting software solutions to meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.

Skills Required:

• Must have at least 3-6 years of hands-on experience with programming in C C# and technologies.
• Must have a working knowledge of WPF Web Api Entity framework and Dependency injection.
• Must have experience in creating web applications using MVC 5.0.
• Must have the ability to work with databases to create/work with complex SQL queries.
• Must have a working knowledge of source control and versioning preferably GITHUB
• Must be able to work independently with little direction/supervision.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and relational skills required.
• Must have a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Must be a strong team player.

Responsibilities:.

• Design build and maintain C# code
• Implementation of unit test cases
• Work closely with other engineers to develop
• Work on extensions of existing products
• End to end upgrade of OSS libraries and ensure no existing functionality is broken
• Plan design develop manage document test deploy and support new and existing modules
• Thorough analysis of api changes of the oss libraries needs to be done.

Highly Desirable Skills

• Experience using XML creating services.
• Experience in creating unit tests.
• Experience with Javascript JQuery CSS HTML5.
• Experience in creating technical specifications.
• Experience in process mapping.
• Experience in UML

• Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science technology engineering mathematics
• 2 years of experience in software development
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java C or Python

• Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field
• Experience with software development lifecycle methodologies
• Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies
• Passion for innovation and continuous learning
• Excellent problem-solving capability
