About the Opportunity

As a Cost Controller at Austal youll play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered on budget and aligned with our strategic objectives. Youll manage all aspects of cost control for assigned programstracking analysing and reporting costs to support informed decision-making in an Earned Value Management environment.

Whats Involved

  • Cost Performance Monitoring and Analysis
  • Preparation of Client Invoicing
  • Reviewing & Processing of Subcontractor Claims & Invoices
  • Collaboration with Internal & External stakeholders to ensure Cost Control Compliance
  • Assisting with Ensuring all Estimates remain Current & Realistic

Youll Need

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics Engineering or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in a cost control project controls or financial analysis role within a project or program delivery environment
  • Sound knowledge of cost management principles budgeting forecasting and variance analysis
  • Experience applying cost control processes and procedures preferably in an Earned Value Management System environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
