Employment Term: Maximum Term to June 2026 Part-Time (60.8 hours per fortnight 4 days per week)
Location: Rockhampton and will include travel

Your part in our UnitingCare team
The Rural Family Support Worker will Coordinate facilitate and evaluate the development of group and individual support for clients (adult and child) of the Rural Family Support Program in Mount Morgan and this role youll offer a holistic response to vulnerable children young people and families accessing the service.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and develop community networks
Provide community education
Conduct needs assessments and coordinate case management plans.
General family support information and referral
What makes a difference for us
Certificate IV in Human Services.
Registration with a nationally recognised professional body is preferred.
Current QLD Drivers License
Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
Must have the ability to travel within Central Queensland region and/or Northwest Queensland regions
Demonstrated experience in working within a therapeutic context with a range of issues including child abuse family violence relationship discord and grief and loss and the ability to keep abreast of relevant social issues and trends.
Demonstrated ability to design plan facilitate and evaluate psycho-educational and therapeutic group together with a proven ability to apply contemporary group work theory and practice in order to achieve positive outcomes with clients.
Demonstrated ability to work in ways that are innovative inclusive and culturally appropriate for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and culturally and linguistically diverse groups.
Demonstrated ability with a proven track record in establishing working relationships with other key stakeholders including government organisations in community projects.
