Job Description:
Position Overview: The Software Implementation Specialist will be responsible for leading the implementation of our transportation management system software for clients. This role requires strong project management skills exceptional customer engagement and account management abilities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of transportation and logistics processes and a proven track record of successful software addition a background in accounting or experience with other ERP implementations is preferred. Candidates should also be comfortable upselling products and/or services to customers. Up to 30% travel may be expected with this role as well.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end implementation of TMS software for clients ensuring timely and successful deployment.
- Manage project timelines resources and budgets to achieve project goals.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and tailor the TMS solution to meet those requirements.
- Provide training and support to clients during and after implementation to ensure effective use of the software.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients acting as the primary point of contact for all implementation-related inquiries.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the implementation process.
- Continuously improve implementation processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Travel to client sites as required up to 30% of the time.
- Promote PCS as a trusted business advisor to our customers.
- Enhance the customer experience by educating them on the value of training packages on site implementation packages additional licenses and additional API integrations to customers on a regular basis.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Accounting Logistics Information Technology or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a SaaS software implementation position and strongly prefer prior implementation experience with another Transportation Management Software provider.
- A strong background in accounting practices and principles is a huge plus for this role as well.
- Strong project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent customer engagement and account management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of transportation and logistics processes.
- Proficiency in Transportation Management Software SaaS solutions and related logistics and ERP technologies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Ability to be the trusted business advisor to our customers and complete value added sales for training courses during the course of the implmentation.
