The Role

Reporting to the Director of Business Performance youll work closely with Partners and senior leaders to drive the collections process and enhance financial performance. This is a hands-on high-impact role where your ability to influence and build trust will make a real difference.

Youll also have the opportunity to help shape our approach to Accounts Receivable streamline processes and introduce better ways of working in a business thats open to ideas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage collections and debtor relationships
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure prompt resolution of accounts
  • Prepare monthly debtor statements and reporting
  • Lead debtor meetings with Partners and Group Heads
  • Support reconciliation work with the finance team
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects (including the rollout of a new Practice Management System)
  • Prepare consolidate and analyse debtor data across multiple systems and data sources using Excel.
  • Produce clear accurate and timely debtor reports in Excel for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Interpret debtor trends and ageing patterns and provide quick actionable insights to Partners and Finance leaders.
  • Identify risks anomalies and root-cause issues in outstanding balances through data analysis.

What Were Looking For

  • 10 years experience in Credit Control or Accounts Receivable within professional services (or a similarly complex environment)
  • A strong track record of recovering well-aged balances and managing challenging accounts
  • Confidence and presence when working with Partners clients and senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication analytical and reporting skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced growing environment
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort with financial systems
  • Intermediate to Advance Microsoft Excel skills including pivots lookups and matching reconciliation.
  • Strong analytical skills. Able to interpret debtor data identify trends and provide practical insight driven recommendations.
  • Ability to consolidate data from multiple sources and present findings clearly and accurately.
  • Confident in quickly reviewing complex client accounts and identifying issues or required follow-up.
