Job Summary
Responsibilities
Peraton is looking for a TS/SCI cleared Director SATCOM Systems Engineering that will oversee support of Global ISR operations with several Ground Entry Points and its integration into terrestrial systemsin Tampa FL.
What youll do:
- Manage a 24/7 NOC with multiple Tiers and Engineers including but not limited to Satellite Systems Network and Cybersecurity
- Support routing configuration and coordination with customer
- Oversee capabilities automation and orchestration for Terminal Monitoring Portal
- Maintain all aspects of customer relationship at multiple levels of organization
- Coordinate support and services from third party vendors
- Direct operations for satellite support of multiple simultaneous tasks including but not limited to terminal commissioning and respective terrestrial interconnects integration as well as Authorized Service Interruptions (ASIs) such as migrations and testing
Qualifications
What youll need:
- 16 years of experience may have management experience
- Clearance: active TS/SCI Clearance
- 10 years of experience operating and troubleshooting end to end SATCOM networks and terminals. Direct experience with ISR systems VIASAT L3Harris iDirect and/or WGS is preferred.
- 5 years of experience managing technical teams across multiple domains
- Previous experience working within USSOCOM and/or DoD environments
- Experience developing and understanding SATCOM link budget analyses
- Experience troubleshooting Cisco based network equipment Linux based operating systems and virtualization architecture.
- Broad understanding of Radio Frequency (RF) in multiple bands and orbits.
- Knowledge of satellite controller operations infrastructure terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with Change Control Management (CCM) and Change Control Request (CCR) processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering related field or 15 years of directly related experience
