Job Summary

Location Designation:Hybrid - 3 days per week

Role Overview:

As the Corporate Vice President Integration Architect youll lead the design and implementation of enterprise integration strategies that connect applications data and systems across New York Life. Youll leverage your deep expertise in MuleSoft SOA and cloud integration to drive innovation scalability and reliability in our digital ecosystem. Acting as both a hands-on technologist and strategic partner youll ensure solutions align with business goals and enterprise architecture standards.

What Youll Do:

Design and lead enterprise-wide integration solutions usingMuleSoft ESB SOA and related technologies.
Collaborate with business and technology leaders to architect scalable secure and efficient integrations.
Develop and maintain integration roadmaps guiding evolution from current to target state.
Evaluate new technologies frameworks and platforms to enhance integration capabilities.
Partner with development teams to ensure solution alignment code quality and adherence to architectural principles.
Support governance activities documentation and technology standards to promote consistency across systems.
Mentor team members fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Required Skills:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
7 years of experience architecting and designing enterprise software integrations.
Expertise inSOA Web Services Messaging (MQ) SOAP/WSDL and REST/WADL.
3 years of hands-onMuleSoft ESB design and development experience.
Strong experience withdistributed (Java/.NET) programming frameworks.
Proven ability to design implement and support high-volume mission-critical systems.
Excellent communication analytical and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud integration services.
Familiarity withDevOps and Continuous Integration practices.
Knowledge ofLife Insurance Marketing or Telemarketing systems.
Exposure toACORD Life and Annuity XML standards.

Pay Transparency

Salary Range:$129500-$175000

Overtime eligible:Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible:Yes

Sales bonus eligible:No

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individuals experience skills qualifications and job location. Additionally employees are eligible for an annual discretionary addition to base salary employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
