What youll build

As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will design build and maintain scalable infrastructure and deployment pipelines to accelerate software delivery.

Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive automation ensure reliability and promote DevOps best practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitOps workflows.
  • Lead containerization initiatives and deploy applications across Kubernetes environments managed via Gardener.
  • Manage microservices deployments for various SAP SuccessFactors services in Kubernetes clusters using Helm and Kustomize.
  • Develop and enhance Helm charts for multiple SuccessFactors products.
  • Automate operational workflows using Python and Shell scripting.
  • Identify analyze and remediate security vulnerabilities across the containerized landscape.
  • Adhere to ITIL-based change management processes to ensure controlled and compliant deployments.
  • Ensure high availability performance and security of systems and services.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to enhance deployment reliability and speed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to build deployment and infrastructure automation.
  • Mentor team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement

What you bring

  • Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related field.
  • 8 years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering roles.
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes and container orchestration tools.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python and Shell for automation. Expertise in Chef & Ansible
  • Hands-on experience with Rundeck Jenkins Git and GitOps workflows.
  • Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or Helm and strong familiarity with Linux environments. Intermediate working knowledge of Windows systems is required as some products are deployed on Windows-based environments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement in release engineering practices.
