We are looking for dedicatedRegistered Nursesto provide the efficient and effective delivery of professional nursing care and support to Registered Nursesprovide effective leadership supervision and clinical support toour people where necessary.

Across Australia Just Better Care provides in-home aged care and disability support services supporting people to live independently. For over 15 years we have been supporting older people and people living with disability to live independently in their own homes and stay connected to their local community.

Duties and responsibilities include:
- Travelling between customers homes and providing individual and personalised support to customers in accordance with their support plans and/or medical practitioners directions.
- Working under the guidance and supervision of medical practitioners working with allied health professionals monitoring and communicating the customers condition and other health and wellness related activities.
- Demonstratinga commitment to best practise ensuring that all services are provided in a caring and respectful way in accordance with Just Better Cares policy and procedures and legislative requirements.
- Medication Administration and Complex Clinical Care i.e. palliative care bowel care/suppositories catheter care stoma care oxygen and more.
- Monitoring and communicating on the customers wellbeing and reporting on progress of customers.
- Undertake comprehensive customer assessment and planing by assessing monitoring and reassessing and reviewing the needs of the customer.
- Where applicable develop strategies that will address the identified needs of the customer in consultation with their representative/s where appropriate in accordance with funding guidelines.
- Ensuring that all services are provided in a caring and respectful way in accordance with Just Better Cares policy and procedures legislative requirements and program specific guidelines (i.e. DVA Community Nursing).
- Providing training coaching and guidance to Community Support Professionals Enrolled Nurses and Support Staff/Case Managers as .
- Conducting skills assessments of Community Support Professionals performing complex care services as .
- Demonstrating a commitment to best practice and evidence of continued professional development.
- Participating in staff meetings and attending training opportunities when .
About you:
Caring compassionate & friendly
Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills.
Reliable & dependable
Proven relationship management with all internal and external stakeholders as well as good interpersonal negotiation and problem solving skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Comfortable using technology (i.e. mobile devices) for accessing rosters & recording customer assessments & documenting feedback
What you will need:
Current Registered Nurse registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Evidence of continued professional development
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance / Criminal Record Check
Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
Current Australian Drivers Licence
Reliable registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is preferred)
Previous experience in the community care or health/aged care sector (preferred)
- Proof of Vaccination(where relevant) i.e. COVID-19 vaccination certificate
