What Youll Do

  • Lead daily laboratory operations ensuring compliance with company policies safety standards and regulatory requirements;
  • Supervise train and develop laboratory staff to maintain accuracy efficiency and technical excellence;
  • Oversee QA/QC programs and data review to ensure analytical integrity and adherence to quality standards;
  • Manage personnel equipment and resources to optimize productivity and achieve operational goals;
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA environmental and industry regulations;
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance Operations and Project Management to ensure accurate and timely results;
  • Develop and maintain SOPs and quality procedures in alignment with company and regulatory requirements;
  • Participate in internal and external audits and ensure timely completion of corrective actions;
  • Identify and implement process improvements and new technologies to enhance performance;
  • Monitor key performance metrics to ensure operational effectiveness and alignment with business objectives;
  • Promote a culture of safety quality and continuous improvement throughout the laboratory;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelors degree in Chemistry Biology Environmental Science or a related field required;
  • Minimum of five (5) years of laboratory experience including at least two (2) years in a management or supervisory role;
  • Experience managing analytical or testing laboratory operations in environmental energy or related industries;
  • Skilled in leading and developing teams and driving process and performance improvements;
  • Knowledge of QA/QC programs audits and regulatory standards;
  • Proficient in LIMS and Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook);
  • Familiarity with EPA ASTM API and Standard Methods;
  • Safety and environmental compliance certifications preferred.
