You will be based in our Head Office in Hørsholm in a hybrid set-up and some travelling can be expected.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Director P&O Operations you will lead a team of dedicated specialists and act as a senior advisor to Executive Management on all matters related to compensation benefits and mobility specifically within following areas:

  • Strategic Leadership
    Set the strategic direction for how VELUX works with compensation and benefits globally ensuring alignment with our employer brand and talent strategy.
  • Team Leadership
    Lead and develop a team of experienced rewards and mobility specialists fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Policy & Process
    Implementation Drive the implementation of aligned compensation and benefits policies and processes across the VELUX organization ensuring consistency fairness and compliance.
  • Executive Advisory
    Serve as the senior advisor to Executive Management on all compensation and benefits-related topics including executive remuneration incentive structures and market competitiveness.
  • Compliance & Transparency
    Lead the implementation of the EU Pay Transparency Directive and other relevant compliance initiatives ensuring VELUX remains ahead of regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners Finance Legal and other internal stakeholders to ensure reward strategies support broader business goals.

Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate will have a relevant background with proven experience in leading global compensation and benefits functions ideally within a multinational organization.

You have strong understanding of international mobility executive compensation and regulatory frameworks.

Most importantly you have experience with leading highly skilled teams and know how to delegate develop and build trust and competencies.

You have great empathy and integrity and are able to balance this with a deep business understanding.

Furthermore you:

  • Have demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Have a strategic mindset with hands-on execution capabilities.
  • Have excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Are fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

As a person you have strong drive and a proven track record of building valuable relationships across an international organisation.
