Job Description
Acciona Agua is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in water infrastructure projects including wastewater treatment plants drinking water treatment plants and desalination facilities. This role is critical in supporting key tenders and future project delivery across the South Australia region.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the review of detailed electrical engineering requirements for water treatment and desalination plant designs.
Provide technical oversight during the bidding process including evaluation and assessment of proposed electrical systems.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to enhance collaboration and improve bid quality.
Support the bidding team in standardisation tasks and contribute to consistent technical approaches.
Conduct detailed electrical system optimisation for water treatment projects.
Prepare electrical equipment data sheets and perform technical tabulations for desalination plant components.
Review technical documentation post-purchase and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Monitor detailed electrical engineering progress through to project completion.
Additional Responsibilities
Extract and communicate key technical information from bid documents.
Propose technical improvements to enhance bid competitiveness and feasibility.
Prepare and contribute to client proposals presentations and bid defences.
Maintain accurate documentation throughout bid and project phases.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
Supervise and guide assigned team members ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Required Skills and Competencies
Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer or Senior Electrical Engineer in water infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of electrical systems design optimisation and equipment specification.
Demonstrated involvement in major tenders within South Australia.
Excellent coordination and communication skills with the ability to work across multiple disciplines.
Familiarity with bidding processes technical documentation and vendor engagement.
