Job Title: Desktop Administrator
Location: Chicago IL (100% Onsite)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Desktop Administrator to provide hands-on technical support and maintenance for end-user devices. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting expertise in Windows operating systems hardware and imaging tools ensuring smooth IT operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform hardware and software troubleshooting for desktops laptops and peripheral devices.

Handle PC asset support tasks including adding moving updating reassigning and maintaining company-owned devices.

Manage Windows XP/7/10/11 operating system imaging installation and upgrades.

Support end-users with configuration connectivity and performance-related issues.

Maintain accurate asset inventory and ensure proper documentation of all device activities.

Collaborate with IT infrastructure and network teams to resolve system-level issues.

Follow organizational IT standards policies and security procedures during device handling and setup.
Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience in desktop administration and technical support.

Proficiency in Windows OS imaging setup and troubleshooting.

Strong understanding of hardware configurations and IT asset management.

Ability to diagnose and resolve user issues efficiently.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Experience with ticketing systems and ITSM tools preferred.
