As an Early Head Start Teacher youll nurture and guide infants and toddlers (birth to age 3) during the most critical years of brain development creating a safe stimulating and loving environment where every child can thrive

What Youll Do

As an Early Head Start Teacher you will:

• Create a warm responsive classroom that promotes healthy growth exploration and secure attachments.

• Implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports physical social-emotional cognitive and language development.

• Build strong family partnerships by conducting home visits parent-teacher conferences and helping families engage in their childs learning journey.

• Support individualized learning including children with special needs by integrating Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) into daily activities.

• Track and document progress using observations anecdotal notes and digital tools to tailor instruction to each childs needs.

• Ensure health safety and wellness through daily routines including feeding diapering and transitions.

• Bilingual (Spanish-English) a plus!

Minimum Qualifications

• Infant/Toddler CDA or an Associate or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent coursework with infant/toddler focus).

• Pass a physical exam and background check.

• Valid drivers license or reliable transportation required.

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and actively engage with infants and toddlers throughout the day.

This position earns up to 43000.00 Annually
