We are seeking an experienced teacher ofSuzuki Double Bass to join our Suzuki String Program within our Music department from 30 January 2026. Our program includes Suzuki Violin Viola Cello and Double Bass with Suzuki Piano also taught.
This is a Casual position and at present the role is teaching 10 private lessons and weekly group class with the intention of growing the program. Parents are expected to attend all lessons which occur during school hours. The Suzuki Double Bass group performs at least twice per year with solo recitals available approximately on a fortnightly basis.
Applicants who are in the process of completing their Suzuki Accreditation in Double Bass are encouraged to apply.
- A current Employee Working with Children Check
- Enrolment in a PPSA recognised Suzuki Double Bass training program with the intention of completing the accreditation within the limits of the program
- A VIT registered teacher is encouraged but not essential
