Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
Provide timely technical assistance to end users both on-site and remotely via phone email or remote desktop tools.
Diagnose and resolve hardware software and network connectivity issues.
Document support requests solutions and user interactions in our ticketing system.
Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
Hardware & Infrastructure
Set up configure and maintain desktop computers laptops printers and peripheral devices.
Install and update software applications and operating systems.
Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on workstations and equipment.
Assist with basic networking equipment setup and troubleshooting.
User Account Management
Create and manage user accounts across various systems and platforms.
Configure email accounts permissions and access rights.
Reset passwords and assist users with authentication issues.
Maintain accurate documentation of user accounts and system configurations.
On-Site Support
Travel to nearby office locations and remote sites within a 20-minute radius as needed.
Provide in-person technical support and training to staff members.
Assist with technology setup for meetings events and special projects.
Continuous Improvement & Learning
Learn and implement automation tools to streamline repetitive IT tasks.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Contribute ideas for improving departmental workflows and operational efficiency.
Participate in training opportunities to expand technical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
Required:
Associate degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field OR equivalent practical experience.
Basic understanding of Windows and/or Mac operating systems.
Familiarity with common office software and productivity applications.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation for local travel.
Customer service mindset with a patient and helpful attitude.
Preferred:
Experience with help desk ticketing systems.
Knowledge of Active Directory or similar directory services.
Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) platforms.
Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts.
CompTIA A Network or similar IT certifications.
Previous experience in a technical support role.
