SAP Security Subject Matter Expert
Employment Type: Labour-hire contract (Approx. 10 months with potential to extend)
Location: Melbourne VIC
Hourly Pay Rate: Up to $1200 per day including 12% superannuation
Security Clearance/Requirements: Must be an Australian citizen
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide advanced expertise in the design configuration and governance of SAP security across S/4HANA RISE and Public Cloud environments.
In this role you will be instrumental in ensuring that user access roles and authorisations align with organisational standards compliance requirements and best practice principles. You will work collaboratively with technical and project teams to deliver secure and scalable SAP security solutions across hybrid landscapes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and configure SAP Security and Authorisations across S/4HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) environments.
Support and enhance S/4HANA RISE or Public Cloud implementations ensuring secure and efficient access management.
Develop and maintain SAP roles using standard SAP role templates ensuring consistency and compliance.
Design and manage role collections in SAP BTP incorporating them into Business Roles for hybrid SAP landscapes.
Provide subject matter expertise on security design audit compliance and segregation of duties (SoD) within SAP systems.
Collaborate with project teams and enterprise security stakeholders to implement secure and scalable solutions.
Identify opportunities for process improvement in security design and authorisation management.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 years experience working on S/4HANA RISE or Public Cloud implementations.
Demonstrated experience in designing and configuring SAP Security and Authorisations in S/4HANA and SAP BTP.
Proficiency in designing SAP roles using standard role templates.
Skilled in managing role collections in SAP BTP for use in hybrid Business Role designs.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA BRIM will be highly regarded.
Strong analytical communication and stakeholder management skills.
