Job Summary
Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
Location: High Point NC 27262
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (8 hours/day)
Pay Rate: $30 $35 per hour
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)for an exciting job in High Point NC.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Occupational Therapist in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
Conduct therapeutic activities and exercises to enhance mobility coordination and functional skills.
Monitor and document patient progress communicating updates to the supervising therapist.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and compliance standards.
Promote a safe organized and clean therapy environment adhering to safety and infection control protocols.
Participate in care team meetings to review patient outcomes and adjust therapy plans as appropriate.
Qualifications:
Education: Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited institution.
License: Active COTA license in the state of North Carolina.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting preferred.
Skills: Excellent communication patient engagement and documentation skills.
