Our finance function plays a central role in ensuring clarity compliance and control across all business units. We are now seeking a commercially astute Senior Accountant to join our Senior Management Team reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with business unit leaders to drive sustainable profitable growth. You are a confident strategic financial leader who enjoys both the detail of finance and the broader impact of commercial decision-making
What Youll Do
- Lead all financial operations across the group structure (main company five SPVs legal and digital arms)
- Manage and mentor the Accountant and Senior Payables Officer
- Oversee cashflow forecasting and funding schedules ensuring clarity and confidence in capital planning
- Maintain precise BAS and GST reporting ensuring timely submissions and clear documentation to support refund positions
- Liaise proactively with the ATO auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance and risk mitigation
- Produce timely monthly group reports and board packs with variance analysis and actionable insights
- Partner with the CEO and senior team on strategic decisions growth initiatives and operational investments
- Oversee intercompany reconciliations trust movements and property-related financial structures
- Support ongoing system and process improvements for scale
Requirements
What You Bring
Were looking for someone who:
- CA or CPA qualification with 6 years post-qualification experience
- Proven ability to manage multi-entity structures (ideally in real estate finance or professional services)
- Strong GST/BAS expertise especially in refund environments
- Experience liaising directly with the ATO or external auditors
- Leadership experience including team management and stakeholder communication
- Hands-on capability with Xero Excel and reporting tools
- The ability to remain calm clear and solutions-focused under financial pressure or scrutiny
