Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre Primary Teacher to inspire young minds in a nurturing and engaging learning environment. This role is vital in shaping the foundational skills of early childhood development fostering curiosity creativity and social growth in children aged 3 to 6. The teacher will play a key role in delivering age-appropriate play-based curriculum that supports cognitive emotional and physical development. This position requires a compassionate educator who is committed to creating a safe inclusive and stimulating classroom where every child feels valued and encouraged to explore and learn.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement interactive developmentally appropriate lesson plans for pre-primary students.
- Create a safe welcoming and stimulating classroom environment that promotes exploration and learning.
- Facilitate daily activities including circle time storytelling arts and crafts music movement and play-based learning.
- Monitor and support childrens social emotional and academic development through observation and individualized attention.
- Maintain open and consistent communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to support school-wide initiatives and child development goals.
- Ensure compliance with school policies safety protocols and curriculum standards.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching pre-primary or early childhood students.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and play-based learning methodologies.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Valid teaching certification or license (if applicable).
- Proficiency in using basic classroom technology and educational tools.
- Passion for nurturing young learners and fostering a positive inclusive classroom culture.
