Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate painting teams to ensure timely and high-quality execution of coating applications.
- Ensure all painting activities comply with project specifications technical standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-job planning material verification and surface preparation checks.
- Monitor and manage the use of paint materials ensuring proper handling storage and application techniques.
- Perform quality inspections and coordinate with QA/QC teams for defect identification and corrective actions.
- Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to painting crew members.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work progress material usage and non-conformance reports.
- Communicate effectively with project managers engineers and other stakeholders to align on deliverables and resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety protocols throughout all painting operations.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Supervisory Experience: Minimum 2 years in a supervisory capacity
- Foreman Experience: Minimum 10 years in painting-related works
- Proven experience working on Topside Jackets or Sub sea Structures.
- In-depth knowledge of paint materials coating systems and application techniques.
- Strong understanding of surface preparation standards (e.g. SSPC ISO NACE).
- Proficient in English communication (written and verbal).
- Basic computer skills including email usage and documentation.
- Ability to work in challenging offshore or remote site environments.
- Valid certifications relevant to safety and coating application (e.g. SSPC NACE OSHA) are highly desirable.
