A Day in the Life

HeartMetrics Sr. Program Manager will drive the creation of new market opportunities by analyzing the intersection of the pharmaceutical and cardiac monitoring sectors. This individual will lead market modeling competitive sizing pricing strategies forecasting and negotiations to capitalize on emerging trends and technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of both industries and demonstrate an ability to navigate uncharted territories identifying key opportunities where none exist.

A Day in the Life:

  • MarketModeling:Identifyand size new market opportunities in the pharma and medical device spaces focusing on innovative technologies unmet needs and emerging trends.

  • Business Strategy: Develop comprehensive market entry strategies including competitive analysis forecasting and modeling potential market scenarios.

  • Pricing Strategy: Lead the development of pricing models negotiating pricing structures with stakeholders and creating value propositions that resonate with both customers and partners.

  • Competition Analysis: Conduct detailed competitor assessments to inform business strategies and differentiate the companys offerings.

  • Financial Modeling andForecasting:Develop andmaintainfinancial models to support strategic decisions ensuringoptimalallocation of resources and ROI.Build dynamic forecasting models to predict market growth demand and shifts in technology regulation and customer behavior.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with teams across R&T clinical finance and marketing to align business goals with market opportunities.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs) company VIPs and external stakeholders to gather insights and refine market strategies.

Must Have:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Life Sciences or a related field (Masters or MBA preferred).7 years of experience in strategic planningconsultingdata analyticsmarket development or a related role in the pharmaceutical biotech or medical device industries.

  • Advanced Degree 5 years in same fieldsidentifiedabove.

  • Strong understanding of market modeling pricing strategy and competitive analysis within pharma and med-tech spaces.

Nice to Have

  • Proven ability to negotiate complex pricing structures and influence decision-makers.

  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.

  • Strong interpersonalcommunicationand presentationskills with a history of cross-functional collaboration.

  • Experience with AI or digital health technologies.

  • Familiarity with regulatory pathways and clinical trials in pharma and medical devices.

  • Knowledge of global market trends in healthcare and technology adoption.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$153600.00 - $230400.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience certification/education market conditions and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
