In-House Senior Accountant (CPA a Plus!)

Were looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in-house to help manage and streamline our accounting operations.

Position Summary:
The Senior Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting reconciliations and financial reporting for multiple active companies. Youll work closely with management to ensure accurate records timely payments and proper cost tracking across all jobs. A CPA license is a plus but not required experience in construction or service-based accounting is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and reconcile accounts in QuickBooks Online
Oversee accounts payable and receivable job costing and vendor payments
Manage weekly reconciliations financial statements and expense reports
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial summaries for management review
Support tax preparation and coordinate with CPA firm as needed
Implement process improvements for accuracy and efficiency

Qualifications:
35 years of accounting experience (construction industry preferred)
Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Excel
Strong understanding of GAAP job costing and reconciliations
Excellent organization and attention to detail
CPA or working toward CPA is a plus
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Schedule:
MondayFriday on-site at our Austin office
