As a Specialty Equipment Food Technician at our local retail store your role will require you to diagnose repair and perform any preventative maintenance duties for our specialty equipment. In addition you will be responsible fordeveloping preventative maintenance schedules and complete assigned PMs in the timeframe outlined as well as conducting training for Store Associates.

- Salary range: $45760 - $72800
- Currently offering a $2000 sign-on bonus (for select locations)
- Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate including skill set experience level of job offer qualifications and other job-related factors.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time field associates at Walmart and Sams Club. Programs range from high school completion to bachelors degrees including English Language and short-form certificates. Tuition brooks and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain Preventative Maintenance for all General Maintenance trades in a region of approximately 28 Walmart stores
- Complete and adhere to all training requirements to safely operate and maintain food service equipment
- Must be able to log into and utilize industry standard work order management system to accept and complete work requests
- Conduct daily inspections after service by walking the area and checking for cleanliness and repair needs
- Provide training to Store Associates weekly regarding care and cleaning of equipment
- Evaluate asset condition and submit recommendations for replacement to management
- Develop and maintain parts inventory to support preventative maintenance program in assigned area
Position Requirements:
- 5 years of service experience in commercial maintenance
- Familiarity with operating and performing service of equipment including programming and installation

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule facility season or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...

Vocational or Technical certification and 3 years experience in one of the following trades: plumbing electrical material handling equipment or related trade or 5 years experience in one of the following trades: plumbing electrical material handling equipment or related trade.Valid Drivers License.
