Outreach/Promotional Activities (30%)
Represent CSL at campus and community events to promote student engagement in community-engaged activities and encourage community nonprofit collaboration with KU
Disseminate information about community service opportunities civic engagement and CSL resources through tabling and flyering across campus social media etc.
Document and track participation turnout impact of CSL promotional activities
Assist with event/program planning and facilitation as appropriate
Office/Technical Support Projects (25%)
Support management of opportunities posted on behalf of community nonprofit organizations on CSL and Handshake platforms
General office support including preparing printed and digital materials/products
Explore and support applications to funding opportunities including grants.
Other relevant duties as assigned by the site supervisor and program staff (5%)
Participate in meetings and trainings led by CSL staff
Maintain compliance with university employee policies (time reporting etc.)
Participation in relevant professional development and presentation activities including the CSLs annual Service Showcase
