Sr. Operation Controller

The Operations Controller will be responsible for monitoring and controlling budgeting forecasting costing and project financial monitoring. This position ensures that the project resources are efficiently managed costs are controlled and performance is optimized in line with business objectives. The Operations Controller will collaborate closely with the Financial Controller Project Managers logistics teams and other support functions to provide key project financial insights support decision-making and ensure alignment of company financial goals with operational and project strategies. Additionally the Operations Controller will support Project Managers by managing project risks scope schedule and costs to ensure successful project execution.

List of Responsibilities:

Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all Safety Quality and Export Control Regulations.

• Ensure compliance with all Airbus Helicopters Management Systems Policies and Regulations.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry best practices.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Monitor project budgets throughout the fiscal year to reflect operational changes and project requirements.

• Provide detailed variance analysis to ensure financial targets are met and project expenses remain aligned with budgets.

• Prepare and update project financial forecasts based on actual performance changes in operations project timelines and logistics considerations.

• Collaborate with Project Managers logistics and the Financial Controller to ensure forecasts are aligned with operational and project goals.

• Analyze trends and key performance indicators (KPIs) and make recommendations to adjust forecasts and improve overall performance.

Costing:

• Oversee the accurate calculation and allocation of costs for products services and operations in collaboration with Project Managers and Financial Controller.

• Work with the Financial Controller to develop and maintain cost models ensuring accurate cost allocation for both projects and operational activities.

• Implement cost control measures on projects to reduce waste optimize resource usage and support profitability.

Monitoring and Controlling:

• Continuously monitor financial performance project budgets and project KPIs to ensure alignment with company objectives.

• Conduct audits to verify forecasting data and prevent discrepancies in project financials.

• Collaborate with the Financial Controller and other support functions to maintain effective project controls to maintain project financial targets.

• Provide actionable insights to project teams logistics and operations to address operational inefficiencies and improve performance.

Supporting Project Management:

• Support Project Managers in identifying and managing project risks ensuring that financial implications of project scope schedule and costs are properly assessed and controlled.

• Assist Project Managers with developing and maintaining project budgets and forecasts monitoring project performance against financial goals.

• Work with Project Managers to ensure that project scope changes are aligned with financial constraints and advise on the financial impact of changes.

• Ensure timely tracking and reporting of project costs and milestones to help mitigate risks related to project budgets and schedules.

• Support risk management activities including cost overruns delays and resource constraints to ensure project delivery within budget and on time.

Reporting and Communication:

• Generate regular reports (i.e. forecasting) on project performance project cost tracking and financial forecasts for direct manager including senior management Financial Controller and Project Managers.

• Present findings challenges and recommendations to leadership to drive financial improvements and project efficiency.

• Provide data (i.e. forecasting risks costs) to support strategic planning and decision-making working closely with Project Managers and other support teams.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the Financial Controller to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Partner with Project Managers logistics teams and cross-functional support functions to track performance timelines and financial requirements to ensure successful project execution within budget.

• Collaborate with Project Managers and cross-functional teams (operations support finance sales supply chain HR etc.) to ensure alignment between financial targets operational goals and project outcomes.

• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among internal teams external partners and key stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and organizational objectives.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvement within operations project cost management and logistics.

• Recommend and implement changes to enhance project performance cost control and financial reporting.

• Work with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to optimize cost tracking and forecasting methods.
