Appointment Type:Permanent

Location:The service encourages flexible working and is open to flexible working role will be based at either Service Headquarters Salisbury or Dorchester Support Offices Poundbury with the flexibility to work from home / DWFRS Stations / Support Offices and we would welcome a conversation with the successful candidate on what type of flexible working arrangement will work best for will be a requirement to attend service premises across Dorset & Wiltshire when necessary for key activities and meetings.

As a Learning and Organisational Development Coordinator in our Learning and Organisational Development department you will:

  • Manage the process of programming of learning and organisational development activities to agreed service standards using the provided system
  • Support internal and external customers in learning and organisational development requirements
  • Support with the facilitation of leadership development activities across the Service and manage external course nominations and bookings

What makes you our ideal Learning and Organisational Development Coordinator

  • 4 GCSE passes - Grade A*- C / 9 - 4 including English and Mathematics or equivalent Level 2 qualification (including L2 functional skills) or higher-level relevant qualification
  • Relevant qualification in Business Administration or equivalent NVQ level 3 or able to demonstrate a significant level of experience at this equivalent level
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office (Word Excel Powerpoint Outlook)

  • You must be able to fulfil the travel requirements of the role which includes being able to attend service premises across Dorset & Wiltshire when necessary for key activities and meetings.
  • A StandardDisclosure & Barring Service Check (DBS) clearance will be undertaken on the successful individual prior to offer of employment.
