The Adult Beverage and Food & Beverage Direct Store Delivery (DSD) team is a critical part of shaping Targets food experience. We own the end-to-end capabilities and processes that power Adult Beverage and DSD operations ensuring optimized systems data accuracy and On Shelf Availability (OSA) across our stores.

About the Role

As the Lead Business Partner you will lead enterprise-level Adult Beverage and DSD capability initiatives that drive market expansion improve profitability and strengthen item availability. Youll also support Food & Beverage Store TruVisit capabilities that enable operational insights and performance improvements.

This role is both strategic and technical requiring deep expertise in retail systems data analytics and process design. You will lead the creation implementation and optimization of tools technologies and best practices that enhance efficiency and consistency across the DSD ecosystem.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving the design and deployment of DSD and Adult Beverage technical capabilities including system integrations automation opportunities and process optimization.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams including Merchandising Inventory Management Store Operations Accounts Payable Target India Data Analytics and Product Engineering to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Leading change management efforts through training communication and adoption strategies for new systems and tools.
  • Conducting field and store visits to validate system performance gather operational feedback and translate findings into improvement roadmaps.
  • Championing innovation and digital transformation in the DSD space to improve accuracy transparency and speed of execution.

About You

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of experience in retail operations supply chain technology or process management
  • Proven ability to define and execute a technology-enabled strategic vision for operational improvement
  • Proficiency in data analytics reporting tools and systems integration (experience with retail data platforms automation or advanced Excel/SQL preferred)
  • Demonstrated success in influencing and aligning cross-functional technical and business partners including senior leadership
  • Experience managing DSD or Adult Beverage systems and vendor integrations
  • Skilled in process mapping performance metrics development and continuous improvement
  • Excellent technical verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights
  • Strong collaboration and relationship management skills across multiple teams and geographies
  • Ability to travel for field visits and operational reviews

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Targets needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team members core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually depending upon what your role team and tasks require for that day.
