Job Purpose and Impact

The Procurement & Transportation Product and Process Director leads a global cross functional team of experienced professionals to develop customer driven products and solutions through an agile delivery this role you will deliver results to customers and act as a collaborative partner within multiple teams to continuously improve processes and procedures. As the Procurement & Transportation Product and Process Director you will lead the strategic evolution of sourcing capabilities across transportation modes and indirect categories. You will shape and optimize the product and process portfolio that powers Source-to-Pay operations driving measurable business value through innovation agility and operational excellence.

Your leadership will directly influence global scalability process maturity and digital enablementensuring sourcing solutions are aligned with enterprise priorities including sustainability risk management and responsible sourcing. By partnering across functions and regions you will unlock efficiencies enhance user experience and deliver transformative outcomes that support Cargills long-term growth and resilience.

Key Accountabilities

  • Own the ROI analysis and continuous optimization of sourcing-related products driving measurable value across indirect spend and transportation sourcing.
  • Lead communications with business and function partners across the company to uncover business needs and deliver optimal solutions.
  • Lead the strategic alignment and governance of process lifecycle health including maturity assessments change management and continuous improvement initiatives across sourcing operations.
  • Provide guidance on scalability and global implementation of product and process capabilities to product leaders across the regions to optimize the integrated operation.
  • Advise and provide counsel to the leadership team and multiple partners on the enterprise or group business operations.
  • Develop and sustain processes of related products to ensure an effective efficient and competitive organization and operations that enable the short- and long-term performance objectives of the business.
  • Manage programs incorporating supplier diversity sustainable sourcing and risk management.
  • Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors coaching and making decisions related to talent management. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of six years of related work experience
  • Strategic leadership experience in technology deployments product and process
  • Portfolio and/or project management expertise
  • Experience leading and developing a team
  • Strong background in cross functional development and stakeholder engagement

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters degree or other post-secondary degree
  • Experience designing and implementing process improvements (especially automation centralization and financial linkage)
  • Change management and transformation leadership experience (e.g. leading digital procurement initiatives or global process harmonization)
  • Certifications in supply chain or procurement (e.g. CPSM CSCP PMP Lean Six Sigma)
  • Experience with sustainability risk or compliance frameworks in sourcing (e.g. ESG supplier diversity regulatory compliance)
  • Proficiency in procurement technologies and platforms (e.g. SAP Ariba Coupa ServiceNow Snowflake or similar)
  • Demonstrated expertise in transportation mode sourcing and indirect category management (e.g. logistics MRO IT professional services)

Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.

Compensation Data

The expected salary for this position is $125000 - $180000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location certifications education and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
