Senior Financial Analyst Join Our Global Team in Basel
Are you passionate about making an impact and bringing your expertise to a collaborative environment Were looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Financial Analyst to join our Established Pharmaceuticals Division (EPD) at Abbotts global headquarters in Basel.
Why This Role Matters
As a Senior Financial Analyst you will play a key role in shaping financial insights that support strategic decisions across our Operations and Quality Assurance teams. Youll work closely with the Financial Controller and cross-functional partners in Manufacturing and Quality ensuring that your contributions help drive innovation and excellence.
What Youll Do
Lead with confidence: Manage the month-end closing process across global sites ensuring accuracy and timely communication.
Collaborate and connect: Partner with diverse teams to consolidate financial data and provide meaningful insights that influence business outcomes.
Drive strategy: Support planning cycles including annual plans and forecasts and deliver reports that empower leadership decisions.
Innovate and improve: Enhance reporting tools and dashboards (Power BI Qlik) to make data accessible and actionable.
Support growth: Assist in resource management and project coordination contributing to initiatives that shape the future of our organization.
What Were Looking For
A Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field (Masters or certifications like CPA CMA ACCA are a plus).
35 years of experience in financial planning & analysis ideally in a multinational environment.
Strong skills in SAP Hyperion HFM and data visualization tools (Power BI Qlik).
Ability to translate complex data into clear strategic recommendations.
A mindset that values collaboration problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
