As the successful candidate you will
Modern Aviation is a leading Fixed Base Operator (FBO) serving private aviation clients. The Customer Service Supervisor supervises on-duty Customer Service Representatives. He/she is responsible for ensuring every guest receives exceptional care from arrival to departure. This role requires professionalism composure under pressure and a commitment to excellence in every interaction.
You are excited about this opportunity because you will
- Monitor performance of the customer service representatives and implement performance improvement plans when necessary
- Review daily invoices for accuracy
- Answer customers queries questions and resolve issues as necessary
- Build and establish customer relationships with local service providers such as hotels rental car companies restaurants etc.
- Provide training and assistance to newly hired customer service representatives and other personnel
- Cover potential call out shifts at the front desk
- Maintain stock information materials and amenities in the lobby area
- Serve as a primary source of information for all customer service representatives
- Update the weekly fuel price and notify customers via email
- Assist the Customer Service Manager with talent acquisition
- Write and maintain customer service shift schedule for proper coverage at the customer service desk
- Assist General Manager and Customer Service Manager with sales functions
- Coordinate aircraft services such as fuel and hangar storage
- Arrange services for clients such as hotel booking catering and ground transportation
- Process customer invoices
- Perform other duties as they may be assigned by management
Qualifications
You will bring with you
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Leadership experience
- Previous customer service experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced computer knowledge
- Ability to make fast decisions by using judgment consistent with company policies standard operating procedures and safety regulations
- Reliable multitasking skills
- Valid drivers license
- Must be 18 years of age
- Basic knowledge of aircraft types preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of aviation experience preferred

- This job operates in a professional office environment.
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones and printers.
- This position requires various tasks performed in all types of weather conditions.
- Physically able to perform frequent walking sitting stooping stretching bending reaching and grasping actions.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts.
- The employee may be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions including extreme heat and cold.
- The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.
- May be required to work nights weekends and holidays.

Aviation Pay Range
$24-$25/hr. benefits.
The Modern Aviation pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data or other law.
