Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Hawkswood School issearching for a temporary full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)to cover a leave of absence. The role of the BCBA is to collaboratively develop and implement behavioral interventions to facilitate students attainment of social and emotional growth consistent with the goals set forth by Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and with the total educational philosophy and goals of Hawkswood School. This position is available starting in mid-November for a duration of 3 to 6 months.
The BCBA works in coordination with school staff members administration and parents in identifying social/behavioral issues as well as planning developing and implementing programs for students to remediate behavioral and social issues. The BCBA communicates effectively and provides ongoing training for teachers related services providers paraprofessionals and other support staff in the areas of behavior management skills and affective education.
Hawkswood School runs a 12-month program. The work schedule is Monday Friday 8am 4pm.
Competitive salarybased upon years of experience and level of education achieved ranging between $78000 and $105000 per year.

A qualified candidate must possess the following:
- A Masters degree from a regionally accredited college
- Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) Certification
Previous school-based professional experience is preferred.
