Position: Assistant Athletic TrainerObjective: Provides athletic health care for students-athletes which consists of but not limited to the careprevention and rehabilitation of athletic injuries from on field evaluation and emergency treatmentthrough return to full addition this position will be required to assist with data tracking ofathletes assist athletic director with day-to-day operations game management responsibilities atassigned games and administrative duties. This important role requires extensive student and coach interaction and the ability to confidentlyinteract and engage with a diverse : Assist in the management of the daily operations of the Athletic Training Department. Assist in coordinating physician referrals and scheduling of physician appointments. Coordinate annual medical paperwork necessary for eligibility for athletic competition. Assist in annual review of departmental policies. Assist with directing and evaluating Emergency Action Plans (including inclement weather policies). Assist in organizing and supervising athletic training facilities. Maintain inventory. Assist with the CPR/First Aid/AED certification of coaches. Assist with oversight of weekly clinics with team physician(s). Assist in scheduling appointments for student-athletes with team physicians. Other duties as : Engaging in effective written and oral communication with members of the coaching staff athleticadministration Previous athletic training experience preferred. Must have strong communication skills both oral and written. Commonwealth of Massachusetts Athletic Trainers license (or eligible and obtained prior to employment) CPR/First Aid/AED certifications required. Must have strong interpersonal skills. Experience managing multiple tasks while working proficiently under pressure. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects effectively. Experience with Google Calendar Outlook Microsoft office suite Prior experience working with and contributing to a diverse workplace with the ability to with a broad range of constituents on : Reports to: Athletics Director or Designee Location: NBHS Dates: December 1 2025 February 24 2025 Rate: $2422.00
