Job Summary
Assistant Principal
- Instructional Leadership
- Assist the Principal in monitoring and supporting effective teaching and learning practices.
- Lead professional learning communities and assist in curriculum development and implementation.
- Analyze academic data to guide instruction and improve student outcomes.
- Support teachers through coaching observation and feedback.
- School Management and Operations
- Oversee daily operations including scheduling supervision and facility management.
- Manage discipline attendance and behavior interventions in accordance with school policies.
- Assist in coordinating safety protocols emergency procedures and school security.
- Participate in budget development and allocation of resources.
- Student Support and Discipline
- Enforce student conduct policies and promote a positive school climate.
- Work collaboratively with counselors teachers and parents to support student growth and well-being.
- Coordinate interventions and support services for at-risk students.
- Staff Supervision and Development
- Assist in the evaluation of certified and classified staff.
- Support hiring onboarding and retention of high-quality personnel.
- Lead or assist in staff professional development initiatives.
- Community and Family Engagement
- Communicate effectively with students parents staff and the community.
- Represent the school at meetings functions and community events.
- Foster partnerships that support academic and extracurricular success.
