DescriptionPARK ASSIST SENSOR APPLICATION ENGINEER will be responsible for the design development and release of Park aid ultrasonic sensors including front rear & side park assists sensors and associated functionalities (like Rear Park Aid Front Park Aid Semi / Full Auto Park Assists) to the assigned vehicle program in Asia Pacific market.
Responsibilities- Drive component packaging and integration of Parking aid Sensors & its bezel
- Lead systems sourcing effort with finance and purchasing to engage suppliers
- Lead Design Validation and Production Validation for Park Assist features
- Support prototype vehicle build and production vehicle launches.
- Be an interactive and key member of the ADAS team working closely with other ADAS Commodity Engineer & other interface applications engineers to support the product and develop robust solutions.
- Engage with Supplier on calibration generation & vehicle level validation
- Lead cross-functional teams consisting of vehicle system engineers Body Engineers Studio experts commodity owners network communications engineers manufacturing engineers (vehicle operations engineers) to drive timely resolution of program specific engineering issues.
- Support the development of robust foundation documents including but not limited to: DFMEA specifications D/PVP&R device transmittals etc.
- Track & Manage issues reported in JIRA
- Ensure alignment with Product Definition Letters and compliance to regional regulatory requirements.
- Lead trouble shooting and problem resolution process using vehicle CAN network tools.
- Collect/analyze CAN data review system schematics and vehicle wiring systems as required.
- Lead park aid & associated features sign off by running testing HiL rig & sign off post feature attribute engineer discussion.
- Occasional travel to Assembly plants to support vehicle launch and production issues
- Lead quality and warranty analysis of production vehicles
- Support PAS sensor bezel installation calibration development for VP/FCSD provided accessories.
QualificationsBachelor Degree in EEE/ECE/E&I.
