Job Summary

Our Rosemont office is centrally located within the Chicago metropolitan area and serves as the hub for our engineering services operations. CBBEL offers our clients unparalleled expertise in Traffic Operations analysis and design including robust and broad project experience with traffic signal design; traffic signal timings and implementation; signal system planning and design; closed loop signal systems monitoring; traffic signal warrant studies; and general traffic engineering addition we have experience with Adaptive Signal System Control Ethernet communication and Central Traffic Management Systems. What Youll Do

Assist with field work including but not limited to: setting up cameras for traffic counts signal timing studies and data collection.
Prepare and update CAD drawings for traffic signal plans signage ADA curb ramp design and pavement markings.
Assist engineers with setting up project files in a wide variety of traffic analysis software.
Support engineers in compiling reports and documentation for projects.
Maintain organized project files and ensure accuracy of collected data.
Assist with other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

Valid Drivers License
High school diploma or GED.
Excellent MS skills including Power Point Excel Access Word.
Willingness to assist with a wide range of projects and work with multiple project managers.
High attention to detail good organizational and time management skills.
Ability and desire to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with coworkers managers and clients.
Ability to ask for additional direction and assistance when needed.
0-3 years of Technical and Project-Related experience; a strong working knowledge of MicroStation a plus.
Associate degree in Engineering Technology or related field; or equivalent experience preferred.
