- Work directly with a $3 million grant from the U.S. Forest Service that the City of Sioux Falls received.
- Assist with program contract administration and compliance.
- Monitor newly planted trees for health and maintenance needs.
- Identify new planting sites for ongoing program support.
- Provide community outreach and education in support of the CommuniTree Assistance Program.

Minimum Qualifications
- Students enrolled in a forestry arboriculture natural resources management horticulture landscape design or closely related curriculum as a full-time student at a college university or vocational technical school.
- Ability to identify various tree species.
- Ability to work as a team member and collaborate effectively with others.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work a 40-hour flexible schedule that includes potential for nights weekends and holidays.
