Job Summary

As we continue to grow were seeking a reliable skilled and motivated Facilities Technician to support our fabrication and warehouse operations.
Position Overview:
The Facilities Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our shop and project logistics. This position supports multiple departments by handling materials maintaining equipment performing minor repairs and assisting with general facility upkeep. The ideal candidate is proactive dependable and takes pride in keeping a busy production environment safe clean and efficient.
Position Responsibilities include:
- Operate forklifts pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist the Facilities Manager with basic building maintenance light repairs and general handyman tasks (painting patching shelving assembly janitorial etc.) on daily weekly and monthly scheduled maintenance.
- Maintain tool and equipment inventory; assist in upkeep and minor repairs with equipment such as Table Saws Routers Mitersaws Sanders Drill Press etc.
- Receiving inventorying stocking goods and recording material usage for reconciliation.
- Load and unload materials tools and finished goods for production and deliveries.
- Support fabrication teams by moving large components and preparing work areas.
- Keep shop and common areas clean organized and compliant with safety standards.
- Maintenance of vehicle and equipment operations including 24ft Box Trucks Sprinter Vans Forklifts and other logistical equipment.
- Support opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Support incoming and outgoing deliveries and vendor pickups.
- Perform daily forklift and vehicle safety inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Assist during project load-ins load-outs and shop builds as needed.
Position Requirements:
- Valid Drivers License and a clean driving record are required. Must be able to drive 24ft Box Trucks.
- Forklift certification preferred (will train the right candidate).
- Prior experience in a fabrication warehouse or construction setting.
- Comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs and standing for long periods.
- General handyman or maintenance skills.
- Experience with basic carpentry light electrical and plumbing is preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable punctual and self-motivated.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced creative work environment.
What We Offer:
Full-Time Position (MondayFriday occasional weekends as needed).
Hourly Rate: $25$32/hr (based on experience).
