Responsibilities:
As an Undercar Specialist your key duties include:
- Diagnosing and repairing brake systems including rotors calipers pads and hydraulics.
- Performing suspension repairs including shocks struts ball joints and control arms.
- Conducting wheel alignments to ensure proper vehicle handling and tire longevity.
- Repairing or replacing steering components such as tie rods steering racks and linkages.
- Inspecting and recommending necessary repairs or maintenance to ensure customer safety.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with brakes suspension alignment and steering systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with alignment machines diagnostic tools and basic hand/power tools.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality of work.
- Team-Oriented: Ability to collaborate with a dynamic team in a busy shop setting.
- Certifications: ASE certifications or equivalent are a plus but not required.
- Physical Ability: Capable of lifting heavy components and working in a physically demanding environment.
