The TRP Field Experience Supervisor will support special education teacher candidates in the Milwaukee Public Schools and UW- Madison Special Education Teacher Residency Program (TRP) in their residency placements. The supervisor will provide coaching ongoing support and mentorship for teacher candidates and work collaboratively with the TRP Program Manager and mentor teachers to support teacher candidates for success. The supervisor will exercise problem-solving and independent judgment to provide comprehensive support for teacher candidates in all aspects of their school-based residency experience. This supervisor role provides support to graduate students in the UW-Madison Special Education Teacher Residency Program a collaborative initiative between UW-Madison and Milwaukee Public Schools.

This position is based out of Milwaukee WI.
This position is expected to work between 15-75% depending on availability department need and budget.
School of Education / Rehabilitation Psychology and Special Education (RPSE)
Minimum: $45000.00
Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Minimum of 3 years teaching in a classroom setting (K-12) with special education students
Current teaching license in K-12 special education required
Ten (10) or more years and experience with teacher leadership and/or coaching is preferred
Masters degree in special education social work or a related field preferred
Bachelors degree Required in special education social work or a related field
