What you will do:
- Generate and validate short-term (day-ahead/intraday) forecasts for electricity load and surplus generation (post self-consumption) across all relevant geographies.
- Monitor forecast deviations analyze root causes and propose cost-benefit improvement measures.
- Maintain and develop forecasting models to reduce forecast deviations including recalibration and integration of exogenous variables.
- Extract process and provide relevant information from data systems/sources to support business monitoring and prepare datasets for regulatory reporting.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes including automation standardization and control enhancements.
- Actively collaborate with other areas of the organization in the development of shared processes/procedures/methodologies.

What are we looking for:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related fields
- Between 3 to 8 years of experience in a similar field or analyst function.
- Advanced knowledge of time series forecasting.
- Advanced knowledge of Python applied experience in time series forecasting.
- Proficiency in SQL and Power BI (DAX).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. GCP Azure).
- Familiarity with energy markets/sector.
- Strong attention to detail and process orientation.
- Analytical mindset with proven problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear actionable insights for top management.
