- Manage the order fulfillment process including purchase order entry purchase order administration and expediting incoming product
- Responsible for the creation and setup of new vendor master data ensuring accuracy completeness and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
- Monitor purchase order delivery dates to ensure alignment with supply chain schedules and customer requirements
- Identify and evaluate suppliers negotiate contracts and build and maintain strong relationships
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supply without overstocking and manage reorder points
- Analyze market trends to make cost-effective purchasing decisions and manage budgets
- Execute the purchase order tracking process and ensures purchase orders are processed in accordance with the organizations customer satisfaction and performance standards
- Proactively communicate changes in material needs lead times or inventory levels to support agile decision-making across the supply chain
- Track changes in business needs and adjust order quantities to support business increases or decreases
- Facilitate process improvement streamlining of costs to increase the quality of procurement logistics and materials management
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in business administration or related field or commensurate years of experience in a Buyer / Purchaser role
- Several years of experience as Buyer / Purchaser and / or Inventory Planning within a manufacturing related environment
- Experience in vendor management
- Efficient in using MS Office products
- SAP ERP experience preferred but not required
- Fluent English skills
