Principal Accountabilities
- Conduct hands-on training for machine operators within the Ground Beef Department based on supervisor requests ensuring proper operation and adherence to safety protocols
- Respond to reactive maintenance calls throughout the plant and follow up to ensure timely resolution of equipment issues
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM) tasks and complete necessary follow-up repairs to maintain equipment reliability and minimize downtime
- Carry out daily line assignments by reviewing PM schedules and inspecting assigned lines within the designated department
- Support additional duties as assigned including providing maintenance assistance across the entire facility when needed
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues on industrial equipment
- At least one year of experience using hand tools such as drill press hand drill wrenches threading machines etc
- At least two years of experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Industrial Electricity I II and III
- Certification in Motor Controls
- Experience troubleshooting with PLCs
- Working knowledge of fluid power hydraulics and pneumatics
- Previous experience with Precision Maintenance
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
- One year of experience TIG Welding
- Building Trades (Drywall repair spackling Plumbing
- Ammonia refrigeration experience
- Ammonia certifications
