CHIEF TRADING OFFICER (FMD)

We are currently looking for a new CTO to join Ignitis Polska where youll be responsible for trading & origination strategies and operations leading a high-performing team of traders to drive profitability and maintain disciplined risk management. If that speaks to you wed be happy to welcome you to our team!

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

• Creating and implementing trading origination and portfolio management strategies tailored to companys needs
• Collaborating with the CFO to develop and manage trading and origination budgets and forecasts
• Analyzing the energy and gas market and competitors to adjust strategies
• Leading trading and origination team
• Monitoring and reporting business results
• Communicating the companys trading and origination vision strategy and performance to the executive team
• Ensuring compliance of department activities with applicable legal regulations
• Representing the company at industry events maintaining strong relationships with industry leaders partners
• Deploying modern technologies to support trading and origination operations and services

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Economy Engineering Maths or related field
• Knowledge of the legislation governing energy market
• Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in trading management with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities
• Proven track record of trading successes and achieving business growth
• Deep understanding of trading and origination services
• Ability to navigate complex trading environments and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in trading software and tools
• Polish and English languages working proficiency

Would be an advantage:

• Masters degree (e.g. MBA) or relevant professional certification
